EATING

So, I don’t diet. I don’t meal plan. I don’t count calories. And yes, this is probably why I am still struggling to lose those extra 25 lbs. But what I am trying to learn how to do and am determined to do, is to find a sane balance between my love for food with a consistent effort to make healthier CHOICES that work for ME. Growing up my mother always made the yummiest meals for us and food was always a comforting experience and that warm and fuzzy relationship with food still remains within me to this day. I never want to feel guilty or use the word “cheat” to describe my food choices. However, after many years of denial and much kicking and screaming, I have come to terms with the harsh reality that food consumption is the key to weight loss…
